The story of Ciaudano begins even before the creation of the Maison. Luigi Ciaudano, the founder of the family, is the first who, driven by his passion, approaches the world of high Italian jewelry. At the end of the Seventies, he opens a modest shop called “Effeil” with an innovative concept: pyramid-shaped supports are used for all the jewelry displayed in the window. Luigi's customers are fascinated by this particular design that allows them to observe the creations from every angle. Shortly thereafter, his wife and son join their father in managing the boutique. Attracted by the Ciaudano family's passion for jewelry, customers from all over Italy visit the boutique with interest to see the unique jewelry and soon their business begins to grow. In 1989, Luigi acquired a space in the heart of the city of Chieri, in Piedmont, officially giving birth to Maison Ciaudano in Piazza Umberto I. The small local business soon transformed into a sophisticated jewelry store, keeping intact the passion of the beginning. Carla, the youngest daughter of the family, born and raised in contact with this world, decided to take the Ciaudano name outside the Italian borders. In 1995 she moved to the Principality of Monaco and opened her boutique at Boulevard Des Moulins 18, Monte Carlo. In the lustre of the Principality, Carla warmly welcomes her customers in the boutique, showing the latest creations of Maison Ciaudano.
